Andrea Bernardi
Andrea Bernardi was born on July 5, 1977, in Rome. He grew up in Genzano di Roma, a town with a rich culinary tradition, where he learned the basics of Italian cuisine from his paternal aunt, Rita, with whom he spent countless hours in the kitchen. He was raised in a family of cooks who owned a seafood restaurant, Capogrossi , founded in 1922 and named after his paternal grandmother, Velia. Capogrossi , which is now the name of the restaurant he owns with Fernanda in Chile since 2022.
He began his culinary journey at the age of 21, traveling between Austria and Germany before arriving in Spain, where he experienced a passion for cooking.
Based in the Canary Islands since 2005, he began his professional career, earning the title of Best Chef in the Canary Islands and Best Chef in Spain (Adecco) in 2010, and second place in Europe (Adecco) later that year.
In 2015, he won the Giraldo Award for Best Cod Dish.

Fernanda Fuentes Cárdenas
Fernanda Fuentes Cárdenas was born in Quilpué, Valparaíso Region , Chile in 1983. She studied gastronomy at the Technological University of Chile, Inacap, graduating in 2007 with a degree in Culinary Production Management. She also earned a BTS (Bachelor of Science in Food Technology) from the Toulouse Academy (France) and SFERE (Society for the Promotion of Culinary Arts).
During her studies, she completed a six-month internship at the Hotel Golf Peralada in Spain. In 2011, she traveled to Tenerife to complete an internship at Casa Albar under Andrea Bernardi , with whom she developed a close working relationship in the kitchen, learning from his techniques and work methods.
It was her skill in the world of pastry that captivated Andrea, leading her to become his right-hand woman. They are now husband and wife and owners of NUB in Costa Adeje, which has held a Michelin star since 2018 and two Repsol Suns. Our chef, with her personality, drive, and talent for communication, has developed a career in Chilean television, participating as a judge on the fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons of MasterChef Chile.
She is currently a judge on TOP CHEF VIP Chile on the Chilevisión channel, owned by Paramount Global.
She received a Michelin star in 2017 and a Michelin star in 2018 at NUB Restaurant, where she remains to this day.
